Description: The painting depicts a rural landscape with prominent wooden architecture in the form of a bell tower or chapel, placed in the foreground. The composition is complemented by a tree and other buildings in the background, all set in a rolling green landscape under a blue-grey sky. The work is created using pastel on paper, which gives the painting soft color tones and a delicate texture. The signature "V. DOBRÝ" is located in the lower left part of the painting. The painting is dated 1948, confirmed by a label on the back of the frame with the inscription "26/11/48". Other handwritten numerical data "530 36" and "1500" are also recorded on the back of the frame. The work is framed in a black frame with a passe-partout. Minor stains are visible on the passe-partout. The frame shows normal wear and tear. This landscape painting represents an example of post-war art reflecting motifs of Czech rural architecture and nature. It is suitable for collectors and lovers of regional fine art and 20th-century art.
