Description: A portrait drawing of a smiling child, executed with a delicate realistic technique, likely charcoal and white chalk on toned paper. In the lower right corner, there is a legible artist's signature accompanied by the date 1959, though the artist is not definitively identified. The work is framed without a passe-partout in a period decorative frame with sculptural decor. The drawing is well-preserved, the paper shows natural yellowing consistent with age, without significant damage to the drawing. The frame has minor abrasions and signs of age in places, and the reverse side is covered with cardboard with period hanging attachments. The style and execution correspond to the mid-20th century.
