Description: A framed historical print depicting a battlefield scene, showing a group of soldiers in historical uniforms, likely from the Franco-Prussian War period. In the foreground, one soldier holds an unfurled flag, while others carry rifles with bayonets. The background shows a smoke-shrouded battlefield, with other fighting figures visible in the distance. The print bears the French inscription "LA GARDE DU DRAPEAU," which translates to "The Flag Guard." The entire image is matted and set in a richly decorated gold frame with patina and minor damage, such as chips in the lower corners. This piece is suitable for display in interiors with an antique ambiance.
