Description: Watercolor depicting a mountain landscape with a forest, a path, and a bridge over a stream, signed "V. Rollo" in the lower right. The artist Václav Rollo (born in Prague on April 9, 1878) was a painter and art educator, who studied under Jindřich Bubeníček and Jaroslav Schürer, later serving as director of a civic school in Kolín. The painting is executed in a delicate watercolor technique on paper and is set in its original gilded frame with signs of age.
