Description: A landscape motif depicting a vast field with prominent leafless trees, likely set in autumn or winter. The composition is dynamic, with a dominance of yellow and ochre hues in the foreground, transitioning into green and brown tones in the middle section of the painting. The sky is rendered in muted grey and blue shades. The watercolor on cardboard technique allows for lightness and transparency of colors, with visible brushstrokes. The work is signed in the lower right corner: J. ŠIMEK. The painting is framed in its original wooden frame with a black finish. The frame shows minor scuffs and dents in several places. The passe-partout is made of textile material in a neutral shade. The work represents an example of Czech landscape painting from the mid-20th century.
