Description: Pastel drawing depicting a spring landscape from 1957 by Bohumír Dvorský. The work presents a vast field with a prominent road leading into the distance, lined with fresh greenery and yellow tones of awakening nature. The sky is dynamically rendered with blue clouds. In the background, the outlines of distant hills and trees emerge, adding depth and perspective to the composition. The drawing is signed in the lower right corner with a pencil or pastel text: FRANTIŠKU DVOŘÁK, BOH. DVORSKÝ 57, 1957. Bohumír Dvorský (1902 – 1976) was a significant Czech painter, known primarily for his landscape works, which often reflected the atmosphere of the Czech rural landscape and its transformations. The work is mounted in a wooden frame with a passe-partout. The frame shows minor abrasions and signs of handling. The drawing itself is in preserved condition, without visible damage to the paper or color layer. The reverse side is covered with original paper, without visible labels or stamps.
