A wooden chest with a dark exterior surface, which in places reveals light wood. The lid of the chest is fitted with a metal handle for easy handling. On the front, there is a decorative metal keyhole. The interior of the chest is made of natural wood. Inside the lid, there is a partially legible manuscript containing text. Similar handwriting is repeated on the bottom of the chest. Metal hinges and a latch are part of the construction. The chest represents a practical storage space and a period interior element.
