Description: These unique vases are a masterful example of trench art, crafted from brass artillery shell casings from the First World War period. The left casing originates from a French 75 mm cannon, known as the Canon de 75 modèle 1897, and bears the marking '75 DE C', indicating a field gun. It was manufactured in 1917 with the brass supplier marked with the letter 'D'. The right casing was produced by the American company Remington U.M.C. in 1916, used for manufacturing ammunition for Allied armies. Both vases are hand-decorated with embossing and engraving, serving as souvenirs for soldiers or craftsmen. These artifacts represent unique historical value and are ideal for collectors or as interior decorations.
