Description: A wooden panel fragment, originating from folk furniture, is a significant testament to traditional craftsmanship. The front of the panel is adorned with a painted wreath, which includes stylized leaves and fruits in shades of red and green. This wreath is centrally placed within a light-colored rectangular field, surrounded by a wider dark green border. A metal handle, which was used to manipulate the original piece of furniture, is integrated in the center of the painted wreath. The reverse side of the fragment reveals the natural wood structure with visible annual rings and knots. The panel surface bears traces of previous use, including partial loss of the original paint and minor abrasions on the painting and edges. This wooden panel fragment represents an interesting decorative element for interiors or as part of a folk art collection, offering insight into the history of furniture making.
