Description: The painting presents a botanical illustration of a pineapple nectarine. The fruit, with its characteristic red-yellow coloring, is depicted on a branch with several green leaves. The background of the print is light cream with small, irregular specks that give the graphic a specific appearance. In the bottom center of the print is the text “Pine Apple Nectarine.”. The graphic is mounted in a metal frame with a golden finish. The inner part of the frame is complemented by a dark green passe-partout, which optically highlights the central motif. The inner edge of the passe-partout is lined with a thin red line. Small specks are visible on the surface of the print. The frame shows slight surface wear and minor abrasions on the corners and edges. The back of the frame is closed with a cardboard backing and a metal eyelet for hanging. Botanical illustrations, like this one, served to document plant species and were valued for their detailed and accurate depiction.
