Description: This wooden ammunition crate is made of solid wood and equipped with metal hinges, closures, and transport handles. The chest likely originates from the period of the Czechoslovak People's Army (ČSLA), where similar ammunition chests were used for storing and transporting ammunition. On the inside of the lid, there is a damaged label with a partially legible marking: S 6/60 26P SIG NÁBOJNIC T.K. VÁHA KG 28. The designation "Sig" refers to signal ammunition, while "26P" (likely referring to a 26.5 mm caliber) specifies the type of cartridges stored in the crate. The interior of the crate is empty and well-preserved. The item is suitable for collector's purposes, as practical storage space, or as an interior accessory with historical reference.
