Description: German post-war porcelain vase by KAISER PORCELÁN with YOKOHAMA ECHT KOBALT decor, inspired by Asian art. The decoration is based on the traditional Japanese Imari style, combining precise European craftsmanship with Japanese aesthetics. The vase has a classic baluster shape with a constricted neck that widens funnel-like at the top. The stable base tapers upwards, transitions into a bulbous body, and then flares out again at the rim. The color palette of the decor utilizes the traditional Imari scheme. Dominant elements include rich underglaze cobalt blue (ECHT KOBALT), overglaze iron red to rusty orange, and rich details executed in liquid 24-karat gold. The background consists of pure white, luminous porcelain. The central feature of the decoration are two detailed mythical birds, phoenixes or birds of paradise, with long tail feathers, perched on branches of blossoming trees. The birds' feathers and flower petals are highlighted with delicate gold latticework and lines. The bird scenes are set within decorative cartouches bordered with gold. The neck and base of the vase are decorated with a band of geometric patterns, stylized chrysanthemum flowers, and traditional Japanese motifs. The interior of the neck is pure white, finished with a distinctive orange and gold rim. The underside bears the markings 'AK KAISER IN GERMANY', 'YOKOHAMA DESIGN BY', 'ECHT KOBALT', and the numbers '52', '65'.
