Description: This school model of an internal combustion engine, specifically a two-stroke engine with a crankcase, dates from the 1970s to 1980s. This illustrative teaching aid was used in physics or technical subjects to demonstrate the function of a piston in an engine. The main part of the model shows a cross-section of a cylinder with a piston, connecting rod, and gears (flywheels) in the crankcase. This section is labeled: COMPRESSION CHAMBER, PISTON, CAM, CRANK CHAMBER. A side auxiliary part illustrates the mixture preparation and intake process, with descriptions such as GAS WICK, PETROL, AIR. Color differentiation (red, blue, and green) was used to distinguish gas flows and channels in the engine. On the bottom of the model, there is a label with the text PROPERTY, PRICE: KČS, BASIC MARK, ORDER NO. On the back, there is a label with information MINISTRY OF EDUCATION, SZUP, PRAHA XVI, RADIICKÁ 50, LOGIA and the designation LV21. The functionality of the model has not been tested.
