Description: This graphic print, created using the etching technique, depicts a Prague motif from Malá Strana (Lesser Town), specifically Čertovka. The work meticulously captures characteristic balcony houses, courtyards, and a boat moored by the canal, evoking the atmosphere of historic Prague nooks. The author is Gejza Dušek. His graphic work primarily featured poetic Prague still lifes, and nooks of the Old Town and Lesser Town. The work is signed in pencil in the bottom right corner. In the bottom left corner, the numbering of the author's edition and state is inscribed in lead: 2/25 I. stav (2/25 1st state). This indicates that it is the second print out of a total edition of 25 pieces in the first state. The graphic is mounted in a profiled golden frame and complemented by a passe-partout. The paper and passe-partout show signs of aging, including minor moisture-induced darkening and age spots, which are particularly noticeable at the edges of the passe-partout. On the back of the frame, there is a stamp with the text: A. D. VACKAŘ, obchod sklem, porcelánem, RAMY & OBRAZY - ZARÁVKY, MOROVEC. This stamp refers to the original framing workshop.
