Description: Porcelain vase from the renowned porcelain factory Fischer & Mieg, Březová near Karlovy Vary, originally known as Pirkenhammer. The impressed F&M mark, found on the shard, was used by Fischer & Mieg between 1853 and 1918, with the highest frequency of appearance around 1860. The vase's design reflects elements of historicism with a noticeable influence of Neo-Rococo and Late Empire, characteristic of Pirkenhammer production. The item is decorated with a light orange to apricot glaze with a pearlescent luster finish, rich gilding, and hand-painted floral medallions on a dark background. A typical feature is the freely hanging porcelain chains at the handles. The vase is damaged, with a crack on the body and wear to the gilding.
