Beschreibung: Decorative ceramic plate from the production of the prominent Moravian factory Gebrüder Schütz in Olomučany near Blansko (Olomutschan), dating approximately from around 1900. The plate is decorated with a hand-painted motif of a grapevine with dark green leaves and blue grapes. The decor is complemented by characteristic delicate spiral lines and a thin reddish-brown line around the perimeter. On the underside, there is the impressed factory mark of the manufacturer Gebr. Schütz – Olomutschan and other production markings. Gebrüder Schütz products are interesting examples of Moravian art ceramics from the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The plate is equipped with metal hangers for display and is suitable as a wall decoration or a collector's item.
