The plate is decorated with a hand-painted motif of a grapevine with dark green leaves and blue grapes. The decor is complemented by characteristic delicate spiral lines and a thin reddish-brown line around the perimeter. On the underside, there is the impressed factory mark of the manufacturer Gebr. Schütz – Olomutschan and other production markings. Gebrüder Schütz products are interesting examples of Moravian art ceramics from the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
