Beschreibung: A deep pewter plate with a diameter of 29.5 cm, crafted in a German workshop during the 19th century. The rim features two personal master's marks with the monogram J.F., typical for Saxon and Thuringian pewterers of that era. The reverse side also bears a proof mark with a lion motif and the inscription PROF, indicating verified alloy quality (“Probe” / “Proof”). The surface shows natural patina and signs of use; overall, the plate is in good, stable condition without cracks. It represents a fine example of German utilitarian pewter produced between 1820–1880.
