Beschreibung: This unique collector's item, also known internationally as a Russian New Year's souvenir, represents a fascinating combination of science and retro design. Inside a clear plexiglass disc, a Lichtenberg figure is captured, created using an electron accelerator. A high-voltage discharge in the material formed a permanent fractal structure resembling a snowflake or frost flowers on a window. These objects were popular scientific and technical souvenirs in the 1970s and 1980s, demonstrating the power of physics in practice. The disc has a cut edge for easy display and beautifully refracts light thanks to its transparency. It is an original piece of history that will delight collectors of technical curiosities and lovers of unusual decorations.
