Beschreibung: This elegant antique cake server, presented in its original padded case with a crocodile-skin imitation surface, is an example of fine applied art from the first half of the 20th century. The metal handle is decorated with rich relief ornamentation featuring botanical motifs, while the brass-toned functional part of the server bears a detailed engraving of blooming lilies of the valley. Although the item shows mechanical loosening at the joint between the handle and the neck, which requires a minor repair.
