Beschreibung: This fully automatic pocket petrol lighter by the Japanese brand Penguin (partially legible inscription PENGUIN on the mechanism arm) represents a classic and popular design from the mid-20th century. The metal chrome-plated body of the lighter is covered in the middle part with decorative brown leatherette featuring an embossed pattern imitating crocodile or snake skin. The ignition mechanism operates on the principle of a pressure lever, which, when pressed, automatically flips open the wick cover and strikes a spark from the flint. The lighter shows normal operational wear, minor scratches on the chrome parts, and patina, while the surface covering is intact and not peeled off. Functionality not tested.
