Beschreibung: This historical optical instrument, made of black lacquered brass with a turned wooden handle, served as an auxiliary spot illumination or projection head (micro-projector) for laboratory microscopes. The world-renowned logo of the German optical leader 'CARL ZEISS JENA' is precisely embossed on the metal tube within its characteristic lenticular frame. The instrument is fitted with a functional optical lens in a finely grooved brass ring for precise focusing of the light beam and comes with its original yellow textile braided cable with a period bakelite mains plug.
