Beschreibung: Cast iron waffle iron designed for preparing waffles over an open fire or in a fireplace. It consists of two cast iron plates with a typical grid pattern for waffles, joined by a hinge. Long wrought iron handles allow for safe handling of the waffle iron in the hot environment of an open hearth. The cast iron construction ensures even heat distribution and long tool life. This type of waffle iron was used in households and kitchens with traditional heating for baking sweet and savory dishes.
