Beschreibung: An old wooden company sign with the inscription „JAN SRB – Výroba cementového zboží / Zementwarenerzeugung“ is an impressive testament to a time when hand-painted signs were a common part of the business environment. The board is made of two planks with a dark brown coating, into which white text is contrastingly and carefully rendered in Czech and German. Such an item carries a strong story – not only about a specific company but also about the period's bilingualism and artisanal production. A stylish addition for collectors of industrial artifacts or as an original decoration for a cafe, workshop, or gallery with a retro or industrial theme.
