Beschreibung: This brass planter, in the 'trench art' style (referring to objects and folk crafts made from military materials and weapon remnants), is crafted from a cartridge case dating from the First World War. This item is decorated with detailed lion's paws, which serve as base feet, and distinctive handles stylized as lion's heads. 'Trench art' involves the processing of military materials, such as cartridge cases and grenades, by soldiers directly during or shortly after a conflict. The planter represents a historical artifact that documents wartime art and craftsmanship. The precise execution of the lion motif lends the item a specific character and historical value, making it an interesting addition for collectors and enthusiasts of war history.
