Beschreibung: This enamel kitchen utensil holder dates from the first half of the 20th century, specifically the period between the 1930s and 1950s, often associated with Art Deco aesthetics. This wall-mounted holder, sometimes referred to as a ladle drainer or utensil rack, is made of enameled sheet metal with a white base. Its surface is decorated with an embossed and subtly printed floral motif depicting violets or roses in a symmetrical arrangement. An integrated hanging rod for kitchen utensils is located at the top. The lower trough is designed to reliably catch dripping liquids from hung spoons or ladles. Items of this type were widely produced by French enamel factories, such as the JAPY company. Today, this enamel holder is a prized collector's item and a functional accessory that will suitably complement vintage or country-style kitchen interiors.
