Beschreibung: The L'IDÉAL table press, also known as a 'pressoir,' dates from the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries. It primarily served for pressing small fruits such as currants, raspberries, or citrus fruits. The press's construction includes a cast-iron screw mechanism complemented by a crank handle. A perforated metal basket ensures efficient juice separation. The entire unit is mounted on a wooden or metal collection tray, stabilized by three legs. The body of the press features the original label with the inscription L'IDÉAL Breveté S.G.D.G. Currently, this pressoir is sought after as a collector's item and a decorative element that brings a rustic atmosphere with its appearance.
