Cloisonné incense burner with a lid. A richly decorated vessel with typical cloisonné decor, featuring floral motifs in fresh colors of blue, pink, red, and green. The dark background highlights delicate gold lines that enclose individual colored areas, a characteristic feature of this technique. The lid of the vessel has prominent pierced openings that serve to evenly release fragrant smoke when burning incense. The vessel is fitted with a brass handle. This piece is an example of traditional craftsmanship and is a typical collector's item from Asian production, likely from China, dating from the late 19th to early 20th century.
