Description: Tin box for Egyptian cigarettes by Dimitrino & Co. from Cairo, likely from the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries. The lid is decorated on the inside with a colorful lithograph featuring the inscription "Best Egyptian Cigarettes – Made in Cairo" and heraldic medals. The interior is partially lined with red paper, of which only fragments remain. The outer surface is heavily corroded with visible patina and remnants of the original decor. An interesting collector's item documenting the history of Egyptian tobacco export.
