Description: A pewter serving bowl with side handles, made in Innsbruck in the first half of the 19th century. The body of the bowl has a distinctly shaped, ribbed form typical of Tyrolean production of this period. The bottom bears three hallmarks: twice the city mark INNSBRUCK with the city's coat of arms, and once the master's mark of pewterer Johann Luitz, depicting a lion with a sphere and the inscription J. LUITZ INNSBRUCK. The surface shows natural patina and common signs of use; overall, the bowl is in good and stable condition. It represents a characteristic example of Tyrolean pewter craftsmanship from the period 1810–1845.
