The body of the bowl is decorated with turned rings, typical for Linz production of this period, and has a wide, stable shape intended for serving warm dishes. On the reverse side, the city mark LINZ with the motif of a city gate and a star is embossed, complemented by the master's mark PF, confirming production in the workshop of Peter Frosch, who was active in Linz approximately between 1775–1815. The surface bears natural patina and common signs of use; overall, the bowl is in good and stable condition. This is a quality example of Upper Austrian pewter craftsmanship from around 1800.
