Description: Charcoal drawing on paper by Czech painter and graphic artist Emil Kotrba (1912–1983), signed at the bottom. The artist was known for focusing on animal motifs, especially horses and equestrian scenes, which is evident in this dynamic composition with expressive drawing and a confident line. The sheet is mounted under glass in its original matting and frame, which bears minor signs of age. The work comes from Kotrba's period of free drawing and clearly demonstrates his feel for animal anatomy and movement.
