Description: This historical prayer book titled "Forget-Me-Nots in a Heavenly Wreath" (Pomněnky ve vínek nebeský), written by Václav Beneš Třebízský and published in Prague at the end of the 19th century, is exceptional for its richly decorated binding. The front cover bears a deep brown relief with the biblical scene of the Annunciation to the Virgin Mary, while a decorative brass clasp securely closes the book block. Inside, there is a colorfully illuminated title page with a floral motif and gilded details, making this small print not only a spiritual object but also an artistically valuable example of period book culture.
