Description: Certificate of honor issued by the Vlastenecko-sdružená obec Bardoníku (Patriotic – Associated Community of Bardoník). The document is made using a printing technique on paper with hand-coloring. The upper part is decorated with an illustration depicting a rural landscape with a traditional building on the left side and a city panorama, reminiscent of a historic center, on the right side. The central element of the illustration is a branched tree. The text on the document reads verbatim: 'VLASTENECKO - SDRUŽENÁ OBEC BARDONÍKU grants founding neighbor SVOBODA FRANTIŠEK a certificate of honor for 35 years of merit given at the rychta (village hall) on June 6, A.D. 1965 rychtář (mayor) syndík (syndic)'. In translation, it means: 'The Patriotic – Associated Community of Bardoník grants founding neighbor František Svoboda a certificate of honor for 35 years of merit issued at the rychta (village hall) on June 6, Anno Domini 1965 rychtář (mayor) syndic (syndic)'. The document was issued on June 6, 1965. The paper shows yellowing and minor stains caused by age. The frame is made of dark stained wood, with visible scuffs and some paint loss on the surface. The glass is undamaged. This type of period recognition documents social and civic activities in the post-war period and represents a historical artifact connected with the local history of the Bardoník municipality and its inhabitants.
