Description: The item represents the preserved chassis and a boiler part from a historic steam locomobile. It originally served as a mobile steam engine, providing a portable power source for agricultural work in fields and factories. The chassis and a portion of the steam boiler have survived from the entire complex machine. Visible components include a large, rusty cylindrical steam boiler vessel, intended for heating and boiling water, and a smaller steam dome cylinder, located on top of the boiler for collecting clean steam without condensate. Also included are massive all-metal wheels and an axle, which allowed the machine to be towed to the desired location. This specimen documents the technical development and history of industrial and agricultural steam engines, including steam pumps.
