Description: This described colored lithograph features the iconic motif of Saint George fighting the dragon, dated to the second half of the 19th century. The scene captures Saint George on horseback, in full armor, with a spear aimed at the dragon lying beneath the horse's hooves. In the background, a princess and an architectural element resembling a castle are depicted. The lithograph is framed in a wooden frame under glass, which protects the print. At the bottom of the print, the text in Cyrillic is literally transcribed: „СВ: Георгій побѣдоносецъ.“, which translates to „Saint George the Victorious“. Below this text, the publisher and place of printing are further indicated: „Druck v. Treutler, Conrad v. Taube, Neu-Rad-Prag.“, which translates as „Print by Treutler, Conrad and Taube, New Town, Prague“. The frame shows surface abrasions and minor signs of handling. The reverse side is covered with paper secured by small nails. This colored print is an interesting example of period sacred graphics from New Town, Prague.
