Description: A charming example of post-war landscape painting from 1962. The work depicts a deep mountain valley with a solitary cottage, likely from the Krkonoše or Šumava regions. The painting excels in its masterful use of light and the typical atmosphere of the 1960s. The author is Duchoň, whose signature 'Duchoň 62' is in the lower right. The frame is period, wooden, with a silver-gold profile, which underlines its authenticity. On the reverse side is the original mounting from the Dílo Praha enterprise with 'Czechoslovakia' edging tape, indicating its gallery origin. This painting is an ideal interior accessory for lovers of classic Czech landscapes or collectors of post-war art.
