Description: A historical photograph depicting a group portrait of members of the 2nd Lancer Regiment during their training in France. The inscription on the photograph is visible: "2e Régiment de Lanciers Instruction 1902-1903", which translates to "2nd Lancer Regiment Training 1902-1903". This is a period photograph, likely a silver gelatin print, dated to the period 1902-1903. The photograph is framed in its original wooden frame with detailed carved decor around the perimeter. Condition of the work: the photograph shows overall yellowing and minor stains, which are a natural consequence of its historical origin. The passe-partout is yellowed and slightly soiled in places. The wooden frame bears minor scuffs and surface imperfections, which are part of the character of an object from the early 20th century. No labels or stamps are visible on the reverse side. This archival military photograph is a valuable document of its time and represents an interesting collector's item for those interested in military history, historical photography, and French military archival materials.
