Description: This oil painting on canvas depicts a harvest scene in a vast rural landscape. In the foreground, sheaves of grain and several figures participating in the harvest are visible. In the central part of the work, there is a vehicle with cattle, which underscores the traditional character of agricultural work. A panoramic view of the rolling landscape with fields, trees, and distant villages under a cloudy sky adds depth to the composition. The work is signed in the lower right corner in black, in cursive script "Pokorný". The author is Josef Pokorný (1901–1944), a painter and educator active in the Náchod region. His work was inspired by national style and Art Deco, which is manifested in the depiction of motifs of rural life and labor. The painting is in good condition. The wooden frame has a finish with visible scuffs and areas with material loss on the edges and corners.
