On the left side, there is an integrated block with four drawers, offering storage space for documents and office supplies. In terms of authorship, this type of furniture is most often attributed to designers such as František Jirák (for Tatra nábytok) or the duo Bohumil Landsman and Hubert Nepožitek (for n.p. Jitona), or designers from Interiér Praha or UP závody, who, during this era, favored working with clean lines and veneered surfaces (most commonly in oak or stained ash/walnut). The solid milled drawer handles, which seamlessly connect to the drawer fronts, are a typical hallmark of these leading Czechoslovak serial furniture creators.
