Description: Historical textile banner (standard) from the period of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic (ČSSR). The front side features the embroidered inscription PUTOVNÍ STANDARTA PODNIKOVÉHO ŘEDITELE A PODNIKOVÉHO VÝBORU ROH (TRAVELLING STANDARD OF THE COMPANY DIRECTOR AND THE COMPANY ROH COMMITTEE). These travelling standards, awarded by the Revolutionary Trade Union Movement (ROH), represented a form of recognition for excellent work results, fulfilling or exceeding production plans, and victories in socialist competitions within enterprises. The reverse side of the banner bears the logo and inscription AROMA NÁRODNÍ PODNIK PRAHA (AROMA NATIONAL ENTERPRISE PRAGUE). The national enterprise Aroma Prague was a significant producer of food essences, fragrances, aromas, perfumes, and cosmetic ingredients in ČSSR.
