Description: This runner from the Western Iranian region, type Hamadan / Senneh (Sanandaj), represents tribal / village work. The field is adorned with a grid pattern featuring a repeating Boteh motif (Miri / Mir-i Boteh), set within a lozenge lattice on a honey-ochre to golden background. Along the central axis of the rug is a cascade of lozenge medallions in red and dark blue. In the corner spandrels, there are naive figural animal motifs (goats/sheep/horses), lending the rug a tribal character. The dark blue (indigo) border features geometric rosettes and a zigzag meander. Dimensions according to the label are 318 × 110 cm. The label states 318X110. The knot density is approximately 38–40 knots per 10 cm horizontally and about 35 knots per 10 cm vertically, corresponding to a density of 1,300 to 1,500 knots / dm² (130,000 – 150,000 knots/m²). The weave is fine and regular for a village runner. The material is a wool pile on a cotton warp. The pile is even, and the colors (natural ochre, coral red, indigo) are well-preserved. Both the edges (side overcasting) and the fringes are in firm condition. Dating to the second half of the 20th century (approximately 1970–1990). Long tribal runners with figural animal motifs and a Boteh pattern in golden tones are suitable for furnishing hallways or entrances.
