Description: Large school abacus, also referred to as a bead clock or French boulier d'école, is made of solid wood. The item served as a visual teaching aid for instructing the basics of counting and arithmetic in primary schools. Its use is typical for the first half of the 20th century. The construction includes a rotating wooden frame with rows of wires and wooden beads. This frame is mounted on a stable floor stand, ensuring its fixed position during lessons.
