Description: A set of two kilim-type carpets, designed by the leading Czechoslovak textile artist Antonín Kybal. This set includes a large and a small geometric modernist kilim carpet from the 1940s to 1950s. The carpets feature striking abstract motifs and organic shapes in a combination of red, beige, black, yellow, and green colors. These carpets were often distributed through sales networks such as Krásná jizba or ÚLUV, which represented the pinnacle of Czechoslovak applied art and design. Kybal's carpets, with their iconic geometric and organic shapes, are valued design pieces in the retro furniture market. The set includes two woven carpets, where the smaller rug complements the main carpet, increasing the value of the complete set. Dimensions: large carpet - 320x202 cm, smaller carpet - 154x68 cm.
