Description: The Melodia M11-0 tube radio receiver was manufactured by ELPROM in Sofia, Bulgaria, between 1966 and 1968. The receiver is housed in a wooden cabinet. The upper part features a textile grille, known as brocade. The lower part contains a light glass tuning dial panel with controls and buttons. The device allows reception on Long Wave (LW), Medium Wave (MW), Short Wave (SW), and Very High Frequency (VHF / FM). Description of the rear panel and connectors: • Identification: In the center, there is a clear inscription RADIOPŘIJÍMAČ TYP M11-0 (RADIO RECEIVER TYPE M11-0) and below it, the country of origin MADE IN BULGARIA. To the left of the text is the Elprom manufacturer's logo (the letter M in a cogwheel). • Safety warning: To the right of the center, a warning is printed: "PŘED SEJMUTÍM ZADNÍHO KRYTU ODPOJTE ZE SÍTĚ" (DISCONNECT FROM THE MAINS BEFORE REMOVING THE REAR COVER). • Antenna connectors (bottom left): Inputs for an external antenna (marked with an inverted T symbol) and grounding (ground symbol) are located here. Above them is a diagram for connecting a balanced VHF antenna (dipole). • Peripheral inputs (bottom right): • Phonograph: A five-pin DIN connector (marked with a phonograph cartridge symbol). • Tape recorder: A second five-pin DIN connector (marked with two tape reel symbols) for recording or playing audio. • Auxiliary speaker: A two-pin connector (marked with a speaker symbol and text approx. 5 Ω). • Power supply and fuses: At the very bottom right, the power cord exits, and above it, a table with power voltage values (110V, 127V, 150V, 220V, 240V) and the value of the mains fuse. The rear cover is held by three rotating locking screws (bayonets) at the top and is perforated to ensure sufficient cooling for the vacuum tubes inside. The electrical wiring is original – we recommend checking it before connecting.
