Dining chair, designed in the 1950s by Austrian architect and designer Oswald Haerdtl. This model of dining chair was mass-produced during the 1960s and 1970s by the national enterprise TON, located in Bystřice pod Hostýnem. The chair's construction includes a backrest made of bent beech plywood, characterized by an oval cutout in the lower part. The tapered legs are made of solid beech. The seat is upholstered. The item is in as-found condition. The original upholstery is significantly worn, and the wooden parts show minor scuffs. The chair provides a suitable base for renovation. Individual pieces may vary, so we recommend a personal visit.
