Description: These authentic antique scales marked "Balance de Ménage – Non Poinçonnée" are a beautiful example of honest craftsmanship from the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries. The robust cast-iron base features decorative elements, the inscription "Force 2 kg," and hallmarks directly in the casting, confirming their historical value and origin. The scales are complemented by two detachable polished brass pans of different designs (deeper and shallower), which create a wonderful contrast to the dark body of the mechanism.
