Description: These table or mantel annual clocks (known as 'ročky' or '400-day clocks') in a traditional mechanical design were manufactured in Germany, a hub for the production of these specific timekeeping machines. The clock is enclosed in a hexagonal, all-glass display case with a brass structure, while the side glass panels are adorned with a delicate, subtly cut geometric decor. The heart of the device is a torsion mechanism with a rotating ball pendulum at the bottom, which gives the clock a calming visual dynamic. The cream-colored dial features prominent black Roman numerals. Rectifying screws are located on the underside of the base for precise leveling, which is crucial for the correct operation of the pendulum. The clock is in authentic as-found condition – the brass surface exhibits a natural patina and traces of metal oxidation consistent with its age, the glass panels are intact, and the movement is visually complete. Neither functionality nor accuracy of operation has been tested, and the item is sold without a key.
