Description: Decorative ceramic figurine inspired by the well-known fable "The Raven and the Fox" (Aesop / La Fontaine). A raven sitting on a branch with a piece of cheese in its beak and a fox looking upwards – captured with expressive stylization typical of works from the 1960s-1970s. Produced by Jihokera Bechyně, one of the prominent Czechoslovak manufacturers of art ceramics. Interesting color transitions and a glossy glaze give the figurine a unique appearance. The manufacturer's golden sticker is on the back. A great addition to a collection of Czechoslovak design, a retro interior, or as an original decoration.
