Description: This industrial wire rheostat was manufactured by the national enterprise Metra Blansko, as evidenced by the original metal label with all technical parameters. The device bears production number 579074, A 0.3-0.9, and has a resistance of 1200 Ω. The device is housed in a black lacquered perforated metal cover, which serves to protect the internal winding. Resistance is continuously regulated by a sliding contact with a white ceramic insulator, while connection to the electrical circuit is provided by two side screw terminals. The item exhibits authentic patina and signs of use, including minor surface corrosion, consistent with its age and original technical purpose. It is a well-preserved example of Czechoslovak measuring technology, suitable for collectors of historical electrical engineering or as a stylish element of industrial design.
